In March 2024, a second measurement campaign was conducted in the wind tunnel of ForWind in Oldenburg. Here, different UAS models of different sizes and different configurations of one UAS model were calibrated for measurement of horizontal and vertical winds. With the wind tunnel’s active grid, different turbulent flows were generated at various wind speeds. Analysis of the UAS measurements in these winds allows determination of capabilities and limitations in turbulence resolution with the different UAS (setups).
