To test the range and availability of data from a Doppler Wind lidar at an Alpine site in ~2000 m elevation, a Leosphere Windcube 200S was installed at the envisioned site for our TEAMx campaign in 2025. Installed at a local farmers cabin, we can scan all the way up to the Geiseljoch and over our targeted measurement area between Geiseljoch and Nafing lake.

We hope to capture good statistics of the dominant valley flow features and test mean wind and turbulence retrievals on the lidar scans under these conditions.
