On 29th and 30th of June, we did first test flights in the context of a live demonstration at the WiValdi research park.
At the site, flights were done close to the array of three meteorological masts, which serve as a perfect reference for spatially distributed in-situ measurements.
The WiValdi research park is DLR’s primary experimental facility for wind energy research. Only recently, the two 4.2MW Enercon wind turbines were installed and will soon be operational. More information: DLR Forschungspark – home (windenergy-researchfarm.com)
